About the Role

The Quality Technician provides services to projects across the GTA and throughout Ontario, playing a key part in field testing, inspection, and sampling of construction materials to ensure quality standards and project requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Field inspection and testing of asphalt, aggregates, soils and concrete.
• Field testing to include sampling, coring and compaction of various materials.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of testing activities.
• Assist in proper care, control and maintenance of testing equipment, including timely calibrations of assigned equipment.
• Follow all company and regulatory safety policies and procedures.
• Assist when required with Geotechnical inspections and investigations.
• Complete reports and checklists as per company policies and/or contract requirements and advise supervisors of any non-conformances and deviations.
• Assist with Laboratory testing of materials when required.
• Perform other duties as instructed.
