About the Role

As a Senior Consultant in SAP S/4HANA Procurement Public Cloud, you will support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) transformation by helping clients adopt SAP standard processes for purchasing and approvals, configuring the solution, and delivering strong testing and stabilization outcomes integrated with AP and Inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Support Fit-to-Standard workshops for P2P; map requirements to SAP standard processes and manage fit-to-standard discussions.
  • Configure SAP Procurement Public Cloud capabilities including purchasing and approval workflows aligned to SAP best practices and clean core.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications/user stories and support delivery documentation and review cycles.
  • Support integration alignment with AP and Inventory/MM processes (e.g., GR/IR impacts, invoice processing touchpoints).
  • Coordinate and execute unit, system integration, and UAT testing – leveraging the SAP Test Automation Tool where applicable – and manage defect triage and resolution with cross-functional teams.
  • Support data readiness and migration validation activities for procurement master and transactional data (as in scope).
  • Support deployment readiness, cutover planning/execution, and post-go-live stabilization/hypercare.
  • Apply SAP Activate delivery practices and tools (e.g., CBC/Cloud ALM) across delivery activities and support continuous improvement.
  • Stay current on SAP Public Cloud quarterly releases and innovations; support impact assessments and optimization recommendations.
  • Contribute to practice development through knowledge sharing and support business development activities by preparing proposal inputs as needed.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of SAP Procurement/P2P experience with configuration and testing exposure; SAP S/4HANA required and Public Cloud experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes and workflow/approval concepts.
  • Experience supporting Fit-to-Standard workshops and translating outcomes into configuration and test scenarios.
  • Testing experience across SIT/UAT with structured defect management.
  • Strong client communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate across functional and technical teams.
