About the Role
Contribute to IMT's growth through meaningful work, taking ownership within a supportive team, and collaborating across departments. This role ensures participants can focus on their development without IT or logistical issues, while also supporting colleagues by maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring equipment readiness, and optimizing processes.
Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, maintain, and perform software updates on internal and external Windows laptops, including IT onboarding for new employees.
- Provide internal IT support for employees, primarily focusing on Windows.
- Offer telephone IT support to course participants for technical issues during courses.
- Conduct IT research for evaluating new hardware and software solutions.
- Participate in IT projects and technical advancements.
- Ship devices to course participants.
- Receive, quality check, refurbish, and document returned devices as part of the IT return process.
- Ensure internal and external devices and accessories are ready for use and fully documented, including maintaining IT inventory and asset lists.
- Research suitable training and conference rooms for courses.
- Obtain and compare quotes, and negotiate with vendors.
- Book training rooms in coordination with the responsible person, and manage changes, rebookings, and cancellations.
- Maintain the booking overview and ensure complete documentation.
- Perform general administrative tasks and office organization.
- Contribute to the digitalization and automation of recurring workflows.
- Propose improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
Requirements
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken).
- Good Arabic language skills for telephone IT support.
- IT-savvy with strong knowledge of the Windows environment.
- Proficient and routine use of Microsoft Office 365.
- Structured, independent, and careful work approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Understanding the contribution of smooth IT, good organization, and effective purchasing to enabling participants' reintegration into the job market.
- Reliable and solution-oriented support for employees and participants, even during stressful periods.
- Viewing new requirements and challenges as learning opportunities.
- Proactive problem identification and independent action.
- Close and reliable collaboration with IT, logistics, project management, and administration.
- First practical experience in IT support.
- Experience in logistics, purchasing, or device management.
- Interest in process automation, digitalization, and optimization of existing processes.
