About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the holistic management of diverse projects, ranging from simple customer orders to complex interior fit-outs and pop-up stores, as well as equipping large-scale events. You will collaborate closely with agencies and end customers in the premium brand segment for project conception and technical planning. Your role involves coordinating various trades, particularly integrating complex decorative construction with electronic components like lighting, sound, and media technology. You will independently select, negotiate, and manage suppliers and external service providers, overseeing supply chains to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery. Close coordination with internal departments and production areas is essential for optimizing resource allocation. You will act as a central point of contact, transparently engaging clients, suppliers, and internal teams throughout all project phases.
Responsibilities
- Holistic project management from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with agencies and end customers on project conception and technical planning.
- Coordinate various trades, integrating decorative construction with electronic components.
- Select, negotiate, and manage suppliers and external service providers.
- Oversee supply chains for timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Coordinate with internal departments and production areas.
- Optimize resource allocation in production.
- Act as a central communication interface between clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Requirements
- Completed degree or solid training in project management, event technology, architecture/interior design, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Proven experience in managing generalist projects, ideally at the interface of event, trade fair, shop fitting, or decorative construction.
- Strong understanding of production processes.
- Negotiation skills and experience in commissioning subcontractors.
- Pragmatic, solution-oriented work approach.
- High willingness to travel for national and international on-site project assignments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
