About the Role

The Warehouse Manager leads all warehousing functions for the Factors Australian business, ensuring safe and efficient material handling, order fulfillment, and inventory management while upholding company core values.

Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse inventory and accuracy through cycle counts and stock takes.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and efficient picking, packing, and dispatch of customer orders.
  • Oversee warehouse operational processes for effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Manage the warehouse budget, monitor expenditures, and analyze variances.
  • Facilitate efficient receipt of international and local deliveries, ensuring accurate checks against paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean, uncluttered, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Continuously review traffic and inventory flow for efficiency and safety.
  • Inspect equipment regularly and arrange for repairs or replacements.
  • Establish and monitor security procedures to safeguard warehouse operations and contents.
  • Ensure daily operational requirements are met by scheduling and assigning employees, and reviewing work.
  • Assist HR in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training warehouse staff.
  • Identify, prioritize, lead, and support continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety policies and training.
  • Follow all work procedures, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education preferably in Operations or Logistics.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management principles, Cycle Counting, 5S, and Lean.
  • Strong working knowledge of software applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate inventory control records and provide necessary reporting.
  • Ability to operate industrial lift trucks, pallet jack, order picker, and forklifts is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills and previous experience in a management role.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees, customers, and salespeople.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to coach and motivate people.
