About the Role
This position manages sales for multiple branches and target markets, implementing and managing staffing and sales activity plans to achieve business growth goals. It drives accountability for acquiring, expanding, and retaining banking relationships, and coaches associates to improve sales performance through outbound calling and collaboration with various bank departments.
Responsibilities
- Manage team performance and personnel functions, ensuring operational soundness and executing plans to deliver customer value and meet financial expectations.
- Drive accountability to role expectations, providing feedback and coaching for associate development and achievement.
- Leverage expertise of bank partners, other managers, and teams.
- Achieve individual and/or team financial, production, and relationship results.
- Engage with customers, prospects, and referral sources through proactive outreach.
- Represent the Bank in the community by attending and participating in civic and community events.
- Engage in sales practices that create value for both the customer and the bank.
- Ensure conversations provide relevant financial guidance to drive informed decisions.
- Foster collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, prospects, and colleagues.
- Initiate conversations to uncover sales or referral opportunities.
- Listen attentively and ask insightful questions to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Take prompt actions to address immediate customer needs.
- Proactively seek coaching, support bank initiatives, and leverage tools to enhance activities.
- Comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities.
- Manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory, and legal aspects.
- Complete required training by established deadlines.
- Perform general office management duties to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure transaction accuracy and operational efficiency for deposit-taking functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Sales, consumer or business lending OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Sales, consumer or business lending
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Position requires frequent driving to other offices, bank customers, etc.
- Bank car not provided.
