About the Role

KPMG in Canada is seeking undergraduate Business or Accounting students for a Summer 2027 Intern position in their Private Enterprise Core Services Practice. This role offers a variety of experiences in accounting and tax services, supporting entrepreneurs, family businesses, and high-net-worth individuals. The program aims to develop future leaders through challenging work, authentic client engagement, and extensive learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

Assist and support senior staff in completing compilation and review engagements
Identify and resolve accounting and tax issues
Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
Prepare Trust Tax returns, Partnership returns, payroll and investment information returns
Develop strong technical accounting and tax skills
Take primary responsibility and ownership of files by independently managing workflow and presenting completed work product to managers and/or partners on a timely basis
Complete other special projects as assigned

Requirements

Must have or will obtain legal authorization to work in Canada by the start date of employment
