About the Role
KPMG in Canada is seeking undergraduate Business or Accounting students for a Summer 2027 Intern position in their Private Enterprise Core Services Practice. This role offers a variety of experiences in accounting and tax services, supporting entrepreneurs, family businesses, and high-net-worth individuals. The program aims to develop future leaders through challenging work, authentic client engagement, and extensive learning opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist and support senior staff in completing compilation and review engagements
- Identify and resolve accounting and tax issues
- Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
- Prepare Trust Tax returns, Partnership returns, payroll and investment information returns
- Develop strong technical accounting and tax skills
- Take primary responsibility and ownership of files by independently managing workflow and presenting completed work product to managers and/or partners on a timely basis
- Complete other special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Must have or will obtain legal authorization to work in Canada by the start date of employment
