About the Role
KPMG in Canada is seeking undergraduate Business or Accounting students for a Winter 2027 Co-op Student position within the Private Enterprise Core Services Practice. This role offers a variety of experiences in accounting and tax services, emphasizing areas that align with the student's background and interests. The program aims to develop future leaders through challenging work, client project engagement, and extensive learning and development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist and support senior staff in completing compilation and review engagements
- Identify and resolve accounting and tax issues
- Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
- Prepare Trust Tax returns, Partnership returns, payroll and investment information returns, etc.
- Develop strong technical accounting and tax skills
- Take primary responsibility and ownership of files by independently managing workflow and presenting completed work product to managers and/or partners on a timely basis
- Complete other special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Must have or will obtain legal authorization to work in Canada by the start date of employment.

Skills
- Familiarity with AI‑enabled tools or analytics platforms is considered an asset
