About the Role
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an Interior Designer to join our Commercial Retail Store Designer team in Philadelphia, PA. Our interior designers create innovative solutions by analyzing every component within a building’s interior, focusing on creativity, comfort, efficiency, and flexibility. The role involves designing schematics, concepts, and construction drawing sets, as well as preparing presentation materials.
Responsibilities
- Perform interior design for programming, design, and construction documentation of retail, hospitality, workplace, and other commercial interiors projects.
- Create presentation materials, including finish concepts and renderings.
- Assist with site visits and attend manufacturer representative meetings.
- Maintain the department library and samples.
- Meet with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill project goals and requirements.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, supporting team members across disciplines and offices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Interior Design.
- 3+ years of professional commercial design experience.
- Certified Interior Designer (NCIDQ) and/or AIA licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Prior experience in Revit.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Willingness to travel.
