About the Role

As a Manager within EY-Parthenon's Valuation Modelling and Economics (VME) team, you will advise clients on preserving, optimizing, raising, or investing capital. You will support clients regarding valuation matters in various contexts including for transactions, portfolio assessment & optimization, restructuring, and strategic planning, assisting with commercial, financial reporting, tax, regulatory matters, or strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams to undertake valuations of businesses, equity interests, financial instruments, and intangible assets for purposes including pre- and post-transaction advisory, tax, financial reporting, and disputes.
  • Lead the delivery of valuation projects, including preparing valuation models and reports with detailed analysis and scenario planning.
  • Think critically, identify issues, and propose strategies related to client advice.
  • Lead, coach, and develop junior team members' technical and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and at least 5-8 years of related work experience.
  • A degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Direct experience utilizing various valuation techniques and methodologies for different purposes.
  • Experience in financial modelling in MS Excel and related software is preferred.
  • Experience conducting valuations for accounting and/or tax planning purposes is desired.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and teaming skills.
  • An open, curious mind to enhance work methods and bring creative solutions.
  • Strong teaming skills in a collaborative and supportive culture.
  • A strong desire to continually develop themselves and others.
