About the Role
This role involves managing the entire employee lifecycle and contributing to the development of professional, legally compliant, and efficient HR processes. Key responsibilities include personnel administration, managing working hours and payroll data, overseeing recruiting and talent acquisition, supporting managers and employees, handling labor law and data protection, communicating with authorities, contributing to personnel development and reporting, and supporting company culture initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage personnel administration throughout the entire employee lifecycle, including contract management, probation, changes, and offboarding.
- Prepare, review, and manage employment contracts and related documents.
- Maintain digital and paper personnel files and HR systems.
- Create employment references, certificates, and other HR-related documents.
- Administer working hours, vacation, absences, and other payroll-related data.
- Prepare and coordinate personnel data with external payroll providers or authorities.
- Independently manage the entire recruiting process, from job posting to onboarding.
- Support the development of recruitment processes and strategies.
- Serve as a point of contact for managers and employees on all HR-related matters.
- Assist with individual personnel measures and collaborate with internal departments like Legal and Finance.
- Contribute to labor law topics and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist with issues related to residence permits, especially for international employees.
- Communicate with authorities and external bodies on HR matters, including social security, employment agencies, and immigration offices.
- Participate in personnel development measures, training, and qualification programs.
- Generate HR reports, statistics, and decision-making documents.
- Contribute to optimizing internal HR processes, policies, and standards.
- Support initiatives to foster a professional and positive company culture.
- Organize internal events, team-building activities, and other administrative HR projects.
Requirements
- Completed university degree (Bachelor or higher) in HR, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of practical HR experience in Germany.
- Knowledge of German labor law is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Structured way of working.
- Responsible handling of confidential information.
- Knowledge of data protection and residence permit law is advantageous.
- Experience communicating with authorities is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with HR management systems like Personio is advantageous.
