About the Role

As a central controller for The Pioneer's business conferences, you will manage everything from the initial speaker request to the final applause. Your focus will be on speaker management, partner support, and professional project management at the C-level.

Responsibilities

End-to-end project management for selected business conferences, from planning to execution.
Coordination of all trades (technical, directing, logistics, location, catering, branding) in close cooperation with our event agency.
Coordination of our speaker management, including outreach, preparation, and on-site support for high-caliber speakers.
Serve as the central point of contact for partners and sponsors, coordinating services and ensuring excellent event execution.
Work with event tools (website, ticket shop, event app) and coordinate participant communication from registration to follow-up.
Contribute to reporting and learnings, translating data into concrete impulses for future conferences.
Contribute own ideas regarding event dramaturgy, design, and brand presence to enhance the overall impression of a conference.

Requirements

Solid experience in event and conference management, with the ability to steer complex projects at a high level.
3-5 years of experience in event or conference management, ideally with business conferences or executive formats.
Strong organizational and coordination skills for multiple trades, managing deadlines, budgets, and project plans under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, with confident interaction with C-level speakers, partners, and service providers.
Ability to act clearly, precisely, and reliably in communication.
Independent and entrepreneurial way of working, maintaining high standards of quality and excellence under time pressure.
Keen eye for details, design, and dramaturgy, understanding what makes an event special.
Ability to see the big picture beyond individual tasks.
