Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to emergency situations with appropriate medical interventions.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records.
  • Participate in case discussions and contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to established protocols and best practices in emergency medicine.

Requirements

  • MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Associate-level experience in emergency medical settings.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Current medical licensure to practice in the relevant state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Must be board-certified
  • ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required
