About the Role
Join the Creative Pulse of the Sydney Opera House! Sydney Opera House Presents (SOHP) is the Opera House's in-house programming department, delivering more than 150 events annually across Contemporary Music, Talks & Ideas, Children, Families & Creative Learning, Dance, Classical Music, Contemporary Performance, First Nations performance, Cinema screenings, and Festivals. Work alongside passionate producers, venue managers, and creatives, while collaborating with artists and facilitators from all walks of life. Responsibilities
- Deliver more than 150 events annually across Contemporary Music, Talks & Ideas, Children, Families & Creative Learning, Dance, Classical Music, Contemporary Performance, First Nations performance, Cinema screenings, and Festivals.
- Collaborate with artists and facilitators from all walks of life.
- Provide high-level administrative and operational support in busy, fast-paced settings.
- Work independently and collaboratively.
Requirements
- Passion for the performing arts, with experience supporting artists in arts, production, stage management, travel, logistics, or artist liaison environments.
- Proven ability to provide high-level administrative and operational support in busy, fast-paced settings while remaining calm under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach and experience engaging effectively with artists and stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of databases/event management software.
- Knowledge of procurement processes.
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management.
- Valid WWCC clearance.
- Existing Australian work rights.
- Satisfactory National Police Check.
- Satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment.

- Base salary of $81,993 per annum plus 12% Superannuation Contributions
