About the Role
Marsh’s UK marketing and communications team is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to cover maternity leave. This role will focus on creating and driving integrated marketing campaigns across all delivery channels, with a particular emphasis on Marsh Risk's specialty insurance lines. The position is based in London and operates on a hybrid model, requiring at least three days per week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Execute the UK marketing strategy aligned to UK business objectives.
- Ensure delivery of all aspects of brand activation, including client retention campaigns.
- Measure campaign performance.
- Develop marketing campaigns to support business needs and align with the overall marketing strategy.
- Deliver compelling marketing propositions and plans to position Marsh in key market segments.
- Leverage digital marketing to enhance client/prospect engagement and drive lead generation.
- Enhance website UX and engagement levels for 'always on' marketing and a frictionless client journey.
- Build and nurture the Marsh brand through social activities, working with social media and PR teams.
- Manage the delivery of digital awareness activity, including paid and organic social media.
- Drive performance excellence through collaboration and sharing best practices within the marketing team.
- Engage key internal stakeholders with proactive internal communication campaigns to create advocates.
- Advise sales and consultant teams on leveraging marketing through clear sales enablement assets.
- Ensure marketing activities are compliant with Marsh policies and applicable laws/regulations.
- Develop an awareness of the wider marketplace to identify opportunities for timely marketing and PR activity.
Requirements
- Experience working in a corporate matrixed marketing environment.
- Experience across all marketing disciplines and delivery channels with a clear track record in digital marketing and analytics.
- Experience in building B2B brands and delivering integrated campaigns.
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Team-oriented and highly motivated self-starter with proven track record for collaboration.
- Flexible approach, thriving on change and innovation, balanced by attention to detail and structured thinking.
