About the Role

Harvey's Legal Engineers in Custom Solutions are experienced lawyers who design, build, and deploy tailored AI-powered workflows for strategic customers in the Asia-Pacific region. This role partners closely with Account Executives, Customer Success, and Product to deliver high-impact implementations driving adoption and value for law firms and in-house legal teams. The Legal Engineer owns the end-to-end solution lifecycle, translating complex legal workflows into purpose-built Harvey configurations.

Responsibilities

Work directly with lawyers at current and prospective customers to understand complex workflow challenges, scope custom solution requirements, and design tailored Harvey implementations.
Build and refine custom workflows, playbooks, and product configurations within the Harvey platform.
Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success to support post-sale adoption, change management strategy, and account expansion.
Act as the Voice of the Customer, translating legal workflow insights and user feedback into concrete product direction.
Collaborate with Marketing and Legal Innovation teams to develop Australia and APAC-relevant content, use cases, and enablement materials.

Requirements

Qualified to practice law in Australia with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house legal team.
Executive engagement skills and presence, with the ability to establish strong relationships with key decision-makers and build credibility at all levels.
Outstanding presentation skills to both legal and executive audiences.
Strong understanding of legal processes and workflows relevant to the Australia legal market.
Comfort operating at speed in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Sales or customer-facing experience is a strong plus.
