About the Role

This position involves providing classroom and/or laboratory instruction, preparing materials, administering examinations, assessing student performance, assisting students during office hours, tutoring, and determining grades. Requirements

• Knowledge of the subject matter of the discipline

• Evidence of satisfactory achievement in previous academic work
• Education equivalent to or completion of the requirements for a bachelor’s degree
• Concurrent admission to or enrollment in a graduate degree program of the University that is related to the discipline
• Graduate degree program in the same department as the Teaching Associate assignment
• 3.00 GPA in graduate course work
• Major in biological science or a closely related scientific discipline
