About the Role
This role involves delivering and unloading finished products, parts, and materials to customer locations, while also assisting in the warehouse with inventory management. You will be a key ambassador for the company, building relationships with customers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and unload finished products, parts, and materials to customer locations.
- Assist in the warehouse to receive, store, and distribute inventory.
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle locally.
- Perform frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Read, write, and understand English Language, as well as use navigation software.
- Work a shift schedule with a start time varying between 5:30 am and 7:00 am.
- Assist in the warehouse 20% of the time.
- Perform any other assigned duties, tasks, or responsibilities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001- 26,000 lbs vehicle).
- Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
- Flexibility to perform warehouse duties as assigned.
- Eighty (80%) percent of all work activities are performed inside the cab of the commercial vehicle.
- The remainder of work activities are performed outdoors.
- Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
- Good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
