About the Role

The New Verticals Logistics team aims to enhance delivery efficiency, quality, and speed, building the world's most reliable same-day logistics platform. Associate Managers will craft and execute strategies for key markets, focusing on efficiency goals and sustainable business growth. This non-technical role operates in a hybrid model, involving office work, in-person testing, and field engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and manage forecasting systems, serving as the DRI for forecast accuracy and improving demand and labor predictions.
  • Identify forecast variance drivers, develop hypotheses, and test model and product changes in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Data Science.
  • Transform analytical insights into operational experiments for scalable improvements in forecast precision.
  • Launch and maintain forecasting enhancements, including writing SQL queries, drafting product requirements, and supporting Go-To-Market efforts.
  • Assess operational and financial impacts of forecast improvements, model tradeoffs, and iterate based on data.
  • Influence cross-functional teams, including local operations, engineering, product, and data science, to align on roadmap priorities.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical background with advanced SQL proficiency and deep understanding of AI tooling.
  • Experience building models from scratch and using data for forecasting.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, comfortable with SQL and data analysis, and influencing roadmap discussions.
  • Strong business acumen, understanding how forecast decisions impact cost, service levels, and network performance.
  • 4-6+ years of professional experience in product operations, financial services, logistics, consulting, engineering, launch operations, or business operations.
  • Completed Bachelor's Degree.
