About the Role
Sierra is building a platform to help businesses create better, more human customer experiences using AI. This role is crucial for driving go-to-market strategy and improving AI solutions through customer feedback.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical pre-sales process, including scoping use cases, articulating business value, designing and demoing the platform, and leading technical reviews.
- Serve as the trusted technical expert throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Agent Engineering teams to drive go-to-market strategy and enhance AI Agents.
- Understand and anticipate customer needs to deliver industry-leading AI solutions.
- Translate customer business problems into Sierra's solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Leverage AI tools for sales motions like discovery, solution design, demos, and proposals, while maintaining ownership of accuracy.
Requirements
- Professional fluency in both Spanish and English.
- 5-7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or customer-facing technical sales.
- Proven experience in demo building, presenting, and working with customers in a go-to-market function.
- Experience in relationship-building with potential customers, including executives and technical leaders.
- Experience leading the sales process with Enterprise customers.
- Ability to connect prospect business problems with Sierra's solutions.
- Ability to explain solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools for technical sales, understanding their capabilities and limitations.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience; Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- Experience translating code, technical logic, and user requirements into product and engineering requirements.
