About the Role
This position manages day-to-day accounting and treasury/cash operations, including developing and managing period-end tasks to ensure accurate recording of material accounting transactions. The role focuses on balance sheet accounting, collaborates with Business Unit Controllers on P&L matters, and directly supervises accounting staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and treasury/cash operations.
- Develop and manage monthly and period-end tasks and procedures.
- Ensure accurate recording of material accounting transactions in the general ledger.
- Focus on balance sheet accounting matters.
- Communicate and collaborate with Business Unit Controllers on P&L-related accounting matters.
- Directly supervise and mentor one or more staff/senior accountants.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- Five (5) years of related accounting experience required.
- Experience in corporate accounting, general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close.
- Two (2) years of people leadership experience required.
- Experience coaching, performance management, and development of accounting professionals.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems and financial reporting applications.
- Experience with month-end and year-end close, account reconciliations, fixed assets, lease accounting, accruals, debt, equity, payroll accounting, and financial statement preparation.
- Knowledge of treasury operations, cash management, bank reconciliations, cash forecasting, ACH, wire transfers, and internal controls.
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, external audits, and continuous process improvement.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
- Valid driver’s license (if travel is required).

Salary/Compensations
