About the Role

The Intermediate Interior Designer will provide design solutions for various projects, with a preference for healthcare design experience. They will collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to develop interior design solutions that meet functional and aesthetic requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop interior design concepts that meet the functional and aesthetic requirements of the projects
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure that interior design solutions are coordinated and meet project objectives
  • Prepare interior design deliverables, including design drawings, material and finish schedules, and other documentation as required
  • Present interior design concepts to clients, stakeholders, and project teams as required
  • Manage interior design project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that interior design solutions are implemented according to the design intent
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our design processes
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an architectural firm or a related industry
  • Preference for experience in healthcare design
  • Strong interior design skills, with a portfolio of work that demonstrates design excellence
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Professionalism, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other software as required
  • Understanding of building codes, construction techniques, and materials
