About the Role
The Returns Team Member role focuses on the timely and efficient return of faulty, defective, and damaged bulky goods within the Home Delivery Centre (HDC) to minimize customer risk and financial loss.
Responsibilities
- Manage escalated customer returns, ensuring prompt resolution and communication of improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with stores, other HDC teams, and stakeholders to facilitate escalated customer returns and resolve queries.
- Assist in facilitating customer and installer product collection from the HDC, performing timely and accurate system transactions.
- Undertake customer and installer facing support tasks, including front-of-house reception and Zendesk.
- Resolve credit claims with suppliers, escalate issues, and provide input for business investigations.
- Ensure transport carriers comply with service level targets and monitor KPIs.
- Contribute to managing processes and systems for quality records and returns inventory integrity.
- Perform other tasks as required by management based on knowledge and experience.
Requirements
- Operational warehouse experience
- Must be available to work Tuesday to Saturday
Skills
- Efficient in Microsoft Office applications preferred
- MHE Licences - LF (High reach) and an LO (Stock picker) preferred
