About the Role
DV Commodities is seeking a talented individual to build and improve proprietary trading tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative platform functionality and architect greenfield solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve proprietary trading tools to support trading desks.
- Collaborate with developers, tech leaders, traders, and researchers to define technical needs for trading applications.
- Work iteratively with technology and business stakeholders to deliver platform functionality.
- Architect greenfield solutions and work confidently in established codebases, extending and improving them.
- Utilize AI to accelerate development while owning code throughout its lifecycle, including design, edge case handling, deployment, and production support.
Requirements
- Expected to graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field by Summer 2027.
- Experience programming in C++ and/or Python in Linux environments, ideally on quantitative or latency-sensitive problems.
- Ability to accelerate development with AI tools while fully owning code from verification through edge case handling.
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite at our New York office 5 days a week.
