About the Role

As a Software Development Intern, you will collaborate with development and trading teams to build low-latency applications, systems, and trading tools. You will deliver self-contained projects within our production codebase, integrating new functionality with existing mature systems. You will leverage AI tools to enhance development speed and take full ownership of your shipped code, growing your technical skills and understanding how our technology stack supports our trading operations.

Responsibilities

Assist in building low latency applications, systems and trading tools.
Deliver well-scoped, self-contained projects within the established production codebase.
Build new functionality that integrates cleanly with mature systems.
Use AI tools to accelerate development.
Take full ownership of the code you ship.

Requirements

Ability to read and navigate an existing codebase and deliver a contained project within it.
Effective use of AI coding tools paired with the ability to critically review generated code and own its correctness.
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, ideally applied to numerical or performance-sensitive problems.
Ability to work onsite at our New York office 5 days a week.
