About the Role
As a working student, you will become a vital part of our team, contributing ideas, building real-world software, shaping core features, and learning hands-on. You will have the opportunity to work on front-end UI development, back-end systems, or data engineering.
Responsibilities
- Build and polish product features in our Vue3/TypeScript front-end and Node.js back-end.
- Build and maintain HL7 v2 and FHIR integrations with hospital systems to enable seamless clinical data exchange.
- Write and extend tests (unit, integration) to maintain quality and compliance.
- Improve developer experience by enhancing build scripts, documentation, and GitHub Actions workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture sessions to learn best practices in distributed, compliant systems.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's program (e.g., Computer Science, Medical Informatics, or similar).
- Able to work 16-20 hours per week during the semester.
- Demonstrated ability to build projects and navigate unfamiliar codebases independently.
- Proactive problem-solver who knows when to seek assistance.
