About the Role
The Olympic Club, a private membership athletic club, is seeking part-time certified Lifeguards to watch over our two state of the art indoor pools for our City Clubhouse in downtown San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Lifeguard during afternoon shifts on weekdays and weekend mornings.
- Maintain safety of all areas on the basement level including Sutter Street Pools and adjacent pool areas, hot-tub area, and hallway connecting pools.
- General maintenance of pool area.
- Perform specific instructions or requests of the Aquatics Director, Aquatics Manager, and Junior Swim Coach.
- Perform lifeguarding duties.
- Complete miscellaneous tasks or duties related to pool and member support.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor/manager or other management of The Club.
- Maintain regular attendance based on business expectations and needs.
- Adhere to all federal, state, local and San Francisco laws regarding health, safety and employment.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Possess Lifeguard Certification, CPR/AED and First Aid.
- Excellent English communication skills required.
- 1 Year experience.
