About the Role
As a Research Professional, you will have the opportunity to work on complex business problems within an inclusive and collaborative environment. Research Professionals can expect to work on multiple projects at a time across various practice areas and industries.
Responsibilities
- Develop data-driven models to address complex economic and financial problems using tools such as SAS, R, Stata, Python.
- Conduct research using academic and industry literature, publicly available data sources, and client materials; synthesize findings to inform case strategy and analysis.
- Assist in drafting expert reports, presentations, and internal memoranda; prepare materials for client and case team meetings.
- Engage regularly with colleagues at all levels through case work and interact directly with clients.
- Contribute to firm life by participating in recruiting, mentoring, and inclusion initiatives; pro bono work; and other business development activities.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science, data science, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or related subjects.
- Strong quantitative and research skills, including analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with AI tools.
- Ability to conduct targeted research to address client challenges.
- Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to continuously learn.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
- A strong academic track record, with demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- At least a 3.3 GPA or higher in their most recent degree.
- Valid post-graduation work authorization.
- English proficiency is necessary for this position due to continuous interactions with clients, experts, and coworkers from the United States and other English-speaking regions.
