About the Role

AIM partners with independent behavior analysts to deliver high-quality behavioral services in public school settings. We offer clinical autonomy, competitive contract rates, and reliable placement support.

Responsibilities

  • Develop behavior plans and treatment plans for students, and recommend appropriate behavior strategies.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments using evidence-based tools.
  • Develop and apply assessment tools to conduct functional assessment and analysis as clinically indicated.
  • Establish and maintain a data collection system to capture baseline and programmatic efficacy; analyze data to inform practice.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to direct support professionals, ABA implementers, and others in support roles for families.
  • Deliver appropriate service to each student on the assigned caseload.
  • Maintain open, frequent communication with parents and related service staff.
  • Recommend the service time needed to implement behavioral goals.
  • Attend student-specific meetings (ARD/IEP, team consultation) relevant to the contracted caseload.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations, including the BACB Ethics Code.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Current and valid BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Valid Texas driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Satisfactory background check permitting work in a public school setting.

Salary/Compensations

  • Paid at a competitive market rate for school-based BCBA services.

  • Contractor maintains their own professional liability insurance.
  • Contractor is responsible for keeping BCBA certification and all required credentials current at their own expense.
