About the Role
The U.S. Tax Specialist will prepare a variety of US tax returns and provide technical support to and communicate with team members and clients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare US personal and corporate tax returns
- Prepare U.S. international information returns and disclosures
- Perform tax law research and document conclusions
- Analyze tax law changes, rulings, and opinions for impact on our clients
Requirements
- 0-3 years US public accounting tax experience, under supervision of US licensed CPA
- Completion of, or demonstrated progress toward a recognized accounting designation ex CPA.
- Excellent Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) skills.
- Strong English communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Able to work under recurring monthly time deadlines
- Able to think technically but work practically
- A team player who values long term career growth
