About the Role
SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Territory Manager – Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) to drive capital equipment sales and support the growth of its capillary electrophoresis business. This role focuses on acquiring new customers, expanding relationships with existing accounts, and managing key customers across Life Sciences, Biopharma, Omics, and Industrial markets. You will help influence life-changing research and outcomes while accelerating your potential.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales.
- Act as a subject matter authority on analytical workflows and provide CE sales expertise regarding market, applications, and competition.
- Communicate the value proposition to customers based on their needs and interests.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of separation sciences across Biopharma, Omics (proteomics, metabolomics, genomics), and Industrial segments (e.g., food & beverage, petrochemical).
- Apply strong expertise in capillary electrophoresis and related separation technologies, including HPLC.
- Work in a team selling environment to navigate complex sales situations across multiple functions (Applications Support, Field Service, Product Demonstration, Product Management, Market Development Managers).
- Utilize sales tools and CRM to manage sales funnel and achieve business results.
- Apply basic knowledge of sales principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
- Use standard account planning tools to guide work and solve routine sales problems.
- Continuously grow prospects and funnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences discipline required.
- Minimum of 3 years of successful capital equipment sales experience, preferably within life sciences or analytical instrumentation.
- Proven ability to grow and manage complex territories and customer portfolios.
- Demonstrated ownership mindset with accountability for results.
- Must live within assigned territory with the ability to travel within territory and work remotely from a home office.
- Ability to travel – 50% plus, overnight, within territory or locations.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Salary/Compensations
- Base salary range: $100,000 – $110,000
- Total target compensation (base + SIC): $180,000 – $190,000 annually
