About the Role

The Analyst, Asset Management will be responsible for executing a range of asset management activities to preserve value and mitigate risk throughout the investment lifecycle of assigned assets. This role involves leading and supporting post-financial close activities, managing asset performance, developing financial models, and ensuring data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Support the onboarding of new investments, coordinating with management teams and ensuring ongoing compliance.
  • Maintain and build project finance/infrastructure financial models and perform quantitative analyses.
  • Prepare investment updates for stakeholders, including quarterly presentations and annual reviews.
  • Validate funding requests and coordinate fund flows between CIB and counterparties.
  • Oversee financial performance, including cash management, forecasting, covenant compliance, and scenario analysis.
  • Update amortization schedules and maintain liquidity forecasts for investments.
  • Proactively engage with counterparties for early risk detection and resolution.
  • Serve as the lead asset owner for assigned investments.
  • Support the establishment of processes for data quality and integrity across the CIB portfolio.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and special projects to enhance asset management capabilities.
  • Track and maintain KPIs for each investment.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Risk teams on Annual Internal Rating Reviews and Expected Credit Losses (ECLs).
  • Work with IT to create dynamic, automated reporting.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in project finance, infrastructure investments, private equity, investment banking or corporate finance.
  • Proficient in building and reviewing financial models.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, data risk and data management principles.
  • Highly collaborative team player.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
