About the Role

To assist the project lead in ensuring client objectives are met through effective Project Management services, maintaining quality standards, and completing projects efficiently and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Assist project lead to ensure client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective Project Management service
  • Assist project lead to ensure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time
  • Assist project lead to ensure service delivery on commissions is in line with the conditions of appointment
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and cross-functional team members
  • Monitor and document project progress and other performance indicators
  • Provide document control assurance and lead management of project information flow
  • Prepare Project Management progress reports and other key documentation for client presentation
  • Serve as a key interface across all stakeholders, liaising with the client, other consultants, end users, and authorities at all project stages
  • Support project planning, including production of the detailed project delivery charter
  • Support the establishment of effective project governance, processes, and systems
  • Lead and facilitate project scope elements and engage with cross-functional project teams to achieve desired deliverables
  • Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client through regular meetings and written communications
  • Maintain meeting minutes and associated documentation
  • Support post-contract commercial control
  • Manage the change control process and track/document all requested changes, quotations, and approvals
  • Monitor overall project finances
  • Identify opportunities to improve Project Management processes, procedures, templates, and products
  • Identify and ensure appropriate parties are aware of quality, safety, health, and environment issues
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and participate in ISO audits
  • Conduct background research, data collection, and benchmarking, and present findings
  • Ensure key information and learning generated from each commission is inputted into internal databases and shared
  • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience required
  • Candidate must be willing to travel occasionally
  • Corporate Interior project experience is mandatory
  • Must have New York City project experience

  • 5 years post-graduate experience

Education Level

  • Bachelor of Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management or equivalent professional experience in the design and construction of commercial buildings preferred

Salary/Compensations

  • $110K-$140K per year
