About the Role

As a Consultant, you will advise statutory health insurance companies and GKV service providers on optimizing, automating, and digitizing their business processes. You will be involved from requirements gathering and conceptual design to the implementation of new digital ways of working.

Responsibilities

  • Independently advise statutory health insurance companies and GKV service providers on the digitalization and optimization of health insurance processes.
  • Accompany projects for process automation, software implementation, and digital transformation.
  • Analyze existing business processes (e.g., health insurance processes, policyholder processes, claims processes) in statutory health insurance and develop practical target states.
  • Translate requirements from GKV practice into technical concepts, user stories, process models, or implementation specifications.
  • Support clients and stakeholders in change projects / change management, assisting them through excellent communication during the entire change process.
  • Support change initiatives in classic, agile, or hybrid project management.
  • Conduct workshops with specialist departments, IT, service providers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience with processes of statutory health insurance and an interest in digitalization.
  • Experience with software solutions, business processes, or digital workflows in the GKV environment (e.g., in policyholder services, claims, contributions, billing, document management, or process automation).
  • Knowledge of health insurance business processes or platforms such as BITMARCK/oscare, 21c|ng, ISKV_21c, or comparable solutions is advantageous.
  • Ability to work consultatively, structured, and customer-oriented.
  • Ability to translate between business departments, IT, and project teams, with strong assertiveness.
  • Ability to work independently and find solutions based on experience.
  • High level of motivation, flexibility, and willingness to travel.
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
