About the Role

Performs general maintenance to assigned facilities. Carries out all duties while maintaining compliance and confidentiality and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Repairs broken light fixtures/ballasts.
  • Repairs electrical outlet fixtures.
  • Performs electrical repair on minor equipment.
  • Repairs and/or replaces clogged or broken toilets and drains.
  • Repairs and/or replaces sink fixtures.
  • Performs minor furniture repair.
  • Installs chart holders and magazine racks.
  • Assembles furniture and modular furniture.
  • Repairs doors and cabinets.
  • Determines workstation specifications.
  • Expresses familiarity with ergonomic standards.
  • Moves furniture, modular furniture, and equipment between facilities.
  • Assists in clinic relocations and renovations.
  • Manages warehouse supplies and furniture inventories.
  • Checks Bridge Trak service requests daily.
  • Packs, loads, transports, and unloads medical equipment and office furniture.
  • Submits credit card receipts in a timely manner with proper documentation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Familiar with ergonomic standards and applies standards when assembling furniture.
  • Familiar with ADA standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all employees, contractors and vendors.
  • Self-starter and team player.
  • Must be organized and provide deliverables in support of project plans.
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multi-functional tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and against strict time constraints.
  • Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools.
  • Must be able to travel to various work site locations on demand.
  • Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl and reach for extended periods of time.
  • Must be comfortable and able to work on a ladder of 20 feet.
  • Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Advanced understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
  • Must be customer service oriented.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, shop drawings, sketches and work orders.
  • Ability to observe legal and defensive driving practices while operating a vehicle.
  • Computer and keyboarding skills, including familiarity with Windows.
