About the Role
Lane Valente Industries is a leading international construction and facility maintenance company seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. We value talented individuals driven by productivity, integrity, and a commitment to learning.
Responsibilities
- Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Use hand tools, blueprints, or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
- Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
- Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed.
- Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating work.
- Inspect and maintain vehicles, including checking condition, cleanliness, and completing repairs.
- Maintain equipment by inspecting for wear and notifying relevant parties of findings.
- Document work by completing job paperwork, including daily time, progress, duration, and maintaining files.
- Record parts, material, labor, subs, and other cost data per assignment and return unused resources.
- Turn in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
- Stay current on all products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
- Read and interpret product specifications.
- Provide technical support to customers.
- Be flexible to work overtime/weekends as necessary.
- Travel regularly, with some overnight travel as needed.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience required.
