About the Role

Access is seeking a licensed clinician to supervise a team of Community Engagement Specialists. This role involves connecting youth and young adults with mental health services, hosting drop-in center activities, and providing education on suicide prevention.

Responsibilities

  • Leading team organizational and program meetings
  • Providing direction to staff regarding individual cases
  • Conducting side-by-side outreach and engagement
  • Facilitating enrollment, training, and supervision of youth activities
  • Providing event and training coverage for short periods as staffing needs require
  • Participate in organizational, community based, and stakeholder events and meetings
  • Co-chair youth advisory community

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be capable to access all rooms in a 2-story home
  • Able to work in open space floor plan
  • Must be capable to move throughout work day
  • Occasional lifting of > 25+ pounds

Skills

  • Strong organization skills with accurate attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, including public speaking
  • Ability to navigate electronic health record
  • Able to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility in adjusting work plan for the day to best meet the needs of the program.

  • Newburgh, NY

Work Type

  • M-F 40 hours

Experience Level

  • Licensure required

Education Level

  • Must have an LMSW or similar credential

Salary/Compensations

  • $75,000
