About the Role
Penn Interactive is seeking a passionate Events Specialist to join the Marketing team. This role will assist in planning and executing events and player engagement experiences to increase customer lifetime value, drive user acquisition, and support broader business goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Events Manager with the planning, coordination, and execution of PENN Interactive events and player experiences.
- Maintain event databases, budgets, calendars, reports, booking records, and other event-related documentation.
- Assist with event logistics, including ticket distribution, guest lists, seating charts, food & beverage selections and quantities, travel and accommodations, vendor coordination, and other event needs.
- Provide hands-on, boots-on-the-ground support at events, including setup, staffing, guest experience, troubleshooting, vendor support, and breakdown.
- Assist with the shipment, delivery, tracking, and inventory of event supplies, merchandise, swag, and branded materials, including sourcing promotional items as needed.
- Assist with maintaining relationships with internal teams, property stakeholders, vendors, venues, and other external partners.
- Collaborate with Compliance and other internal teams to ensure event and vendor requirements are met.
- Provide ad hoc support for activations and experiential marketing programs.
- Assist with researching event opportunities and gathering information to support planning and recommendations.
- Assist with event reporting, spend tracking, ROI analysis, and post-event recaps.
- Manage multiple events and projects while adapting to changing priorities, deadlines, and business needs.
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Requirements
- This position is expected to travel 50% of the time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must be located within 100 Miles (161 Kilometers) of an office site either Cherry Hill, NJ, Philadelphia, PA or Toronto, ON.
- Regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
- 3-5 years of experience managing and attending events, activations, sponsorships, or experiential marketing programs.
- Budget management experience a must.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
