About the Role

The U.S. Setidegrasib Launch Lead, NSCLC is responsible for leading U.S. commercial launch strategy and execution readiness for setidegrasib (A3082) in non-small cell lung cancer. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams and co-creation affiliates to shape insight-driven launch plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and commercial priorities that support a competitive U.S. launch and maximize long-term brand value.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the U.S. commercial launch strategy and integrated launch plan for setidegrasib in NSCLC, including launch objectives, critical success factors, key milestones, governance, and cross-functional execution roadmap.
  • Translate patient, customer, scientific, biomarker/testing, pathway, market access, and competitive insights into clear brand priorities, business recommendations, and launch execution choices.
  • Shape U.S. brand positioning, messaging, and core launch materials in partnership with medical, legal, regulatory, market access, sales, training, agency, and global/co-creation partners.
  • Lead cross-functional launch readiness across key workstreams, including marketing, medical, access, sales, training, analytics, diagnostics/biomarker strategy, operations, and supply, ensuring alignment with Astellas launch excellence expectations.
  • Develop external stakeholder and customer engagement strategies for priority audiences, including HCPs, key external experts, patient advocacy organizations, pathways, accounts, and other relevant oncology stakeholders.
  • Partner with market access and account teams to support pricing, reimbursement, payer, distribution/channel, and account-level launch planning for the U.S. market.
  • Establish launch performance metrics, dashboards, feedback loops, and business review cadence to monitor readiness and early launch performance, identify risks, and optimize execution.
  • Ensure all launch planning and external engagement activities comply with Astellas policies, Ethics and Compliance standards, and applicable laws and regulations governing interactions with HCPs, HCOs, and patient organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Significant U.S. pharmaceutical or biotechnology commercial experience, with demonstrated success in oncology marketing, launch planning, or brand strategy.
  • Direct experience supporting or leading U.S. product launch preparation, including integrated launch planning, cross-functional readiness, customer strategy, and launch execution.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. oncology market, including HCP engagement, treatment pathways, biomarker/testing dynamics, payer/access considerations, and the competitive landscape.
  • Proven ability to translate market, customer, patient, scientific, and competitive insights into clear strategic choices, commercial plans, and executional priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders across marketing, medical, market access, sales, regulatory, legal, analytics, and global partners.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry compliance requirements and ability to ensure activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.

Salary/Compensations

  • $161,928 - $243,500
