About the Role

The DOT Driver is responsible for safely and timely delivering box trucks to their destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and driving vehicles that require DOT certifications.

Responsibilities

• Transport medium duty trucks, cargo's, and heavy duty pickup trucks to and from rental locations, dealerships, and vendors.
• Navigate using written directions.
• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area, adhering to all traffic laws.
• Safely and courteously deliver customers and vehicles to their destinations.
• Accompany or follow another driver for vehicle drop-offs or pick-ups.
• Organize travel routes and ensure accurate and timely vehicle paperwork.
• Communicate via two-way radio or cellular phone as needed.
• Clean vehicles as required.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• Must have no drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Must be qualified to drive under D.O.T. regulations.
• Must submit an appropriate medical examiner's certificate or pass a D.O.T. medical examination.
• No other paid employment is allowed (no moonlighting).
