About the Role
As a Data Foundation Account Executive, you will architect the Data Foundation that makes autonomous agents possible. This role sits at the epicenter of the most significant shift in enterprise tech: The Agentic Revolution. You will sell the #1 priority for every 2026 C-suite executive: turning "static data" into "agentic action" with a portfolio no competitor can match.
Responsibilities
- Own the Data Foundation Mandate: Carry quota for both MuleSoft and Informatica and drive ACV across both products, positioning the Data Foundation as the essential layer for every AI initiative.
- Lead "Data Foundation" Discovery: Conduct deep-dive sessions with CIOs and Data Architects to uncover fragmented systems and data quality issues hindering AI, articulating how a MuleSoft + Informatica-led foundation builds a secure, future-proof AI roadmap.
- Orchestrate the Ecosystem: Act as the commercial lead for both MuleSoft and Informatica, partnering with technical specialists to solve complex data gravity problems and ensure the Data Foundation delivers as one unified solution.
- Identify "AI-Ready" Whitespace: Hunt for high-value use cases across both products, demonstrating how MuleSoft's integration layer and Informatica's data management capabilities combine to automate workflows and prepare the enterprise for an autonomous future.
- Value-Based Outcomes: Translate technical connectivity and data management capabilities into high-level business ROI, proving that without a robust Data Foundation, an enterprise's AI and Data investments cannot succeed.
Requirements
- 10+ years of full cycle sales experience, with at least 5 years in Enterprise Sales.
- Average of 5+ years of full cycle sales experience, with at least 3 in the field and a proven track record of success.
- Proven track record selling complex, technical solutions (integration, data management, cloud platforms, or similar) to C-suite executives, particularly CIOs and CTOs.
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into board-level business outcomes, speaking revenue, risk, and competitive advantage.
- Comfortable navigating and leading in a heavily matrixed environment, aligning internal stakeholders and mobilizing extended teams.
- Experience as the commercial quarterback in a team-selling model, coordinating technical specialists, solution engineers, and partner resources.
- Natural curiosity about the evolving AI and agentic landscape, staying close to enterprise AI trends.
- Familiarity with the integration and API market landscape, including key trends, competitive dynamics, and customer pain points.
- Experience will be evaluated based on core competencies including extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, and work experience.
