About the Role
Our Industrial Electrician is responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated industrial control systems, bridging electrical wiring with software logic. You will ensure maximum uptime of machinery by diagnosing failures, updating PLC/HMI programs, and repairing electrical components like sensors, drives, and motors.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair 480-volt, 3-phase systems, minimizing downtime.
- Support, troubleshoot, improve, and maintain high-speed production and packaging machinery.
- Manage programmable controllers and computer process controls.
- Analyze plant-wide electrical process data to inform equipment maintenance and process improvement decisions.
- Adhere to plant safety and sanitation requirements, completing assigned work safely and efficiently per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist with process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean methodology, including root cause analysis and process flow maps.
- Clearly document and communicate maintenance and quality events using computer reporting systems.
- Participate in cross-training opportunities to maximize earnings and expand technical knowledge.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- High-speed manufacturing or industrial experience.
- VFD experience.
- Allen Bradley PLC5 programming and troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to comprehend electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints with pneumatic and hydraulic process knowledge.
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures (e.g., lock out/tag out, confined space entry).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds.
- Must be able to continuously stand, bend, and twist.
- Must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds.

Salary/Compensations
- $37.96-$42.78 per hour for the first 8 hours of a shift.
- $56.94-$64.17 per hour for the next 4.25 hours at 1.5x base rate.
- Pay increases after completion of certifications and licenses, ranging from $0.90-$2.45 per hour on base rate and $1.35-$3.68 at 1.5x rate up to the maximum hourly rate.
- Quarterly bonus eligible based on KPIs.
- Double time for working on a holiday + holiday pay.
