As an Applications Engineer, you will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, provide technical expertise, and help develop creative solutions that contribute to the success of our customers and projects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert with comprehensive product knowledge and technical expertise.
- Analyze and resolve complex challenges and concerns with strong attention to detail.
- Apply creative thinking and problem-solving skills to transform challenges into opportunities.
- Recommend solutions that address customer challenges using technical expertise and consultative selling skills.
- Communicate and demonstrate the value of products and services through presentations, drawings, and markups via meetings, emails, and phone conversations.
- Draft recommended solutions including mounting details, wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, or building schematics.
- Record project information in an organized, systematic manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Estimating, Engineering, Sales Operations, Marketing, Product Management, and Tech Support.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from Electrical Contractors, Architects, Engineers, Dealers, General Contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct comprehensive large-scale project scope reviews through expert blueprint interpretation and the effective use of Revit.
- Develop strategic bidding recommendations by analyzing construction documents and identifying key project requirements, specifications, and risk factors.
- Lead project kickoff meetings and effectively transfer project knowledge, scope, and key requirements to the Sales Operations Project Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management is required.
- 1+ year experience in manufacturing industry.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills are required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Proficiency in PDF editing software (Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Acrobat) is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with focus on Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required.

- Eligible for a quarterly bonus of up to 1.5%
