About the Role
FAIR-RITE PRODUCTS CORP has an immediate opening for a full-time CNC Programmer/Operator/Tool Maker on our 1st shift.
Responsibilities
- Program complex parts in the Vision System.
- Program complex parts in the CMM.
- Write programs for the CNC’s.
- Troubleshoot and correct issues with the CNC software.
- Develop cutting tools and fixtures for the CNC’s.
- Run/setup CNC’s, detect issues and make corrections.
- Assist fellow toolmakers when needed.
- Lead by example demonstrating proper shop techniques.
- Perform work with tolerance of + / – .00025 or better.
- Follow all relevant Quality and / or Environmental standards for which Fair Rite is certified.
- Follow all O.S.H.A. standards and the F/R Safety and Health Policy.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Minimum of 2 – 4 years on the job training and/or experience related to CNC Programming.
- Ability to follow written and oral communication.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Ability to use data collection / SPC.
- PC / Computer skills.
- Must have good problem-solving skills.
- Must have excellent time management skills.
- Must be highly detail-oriented.
- Ability to accurately handle all hand-held precise measuring instruments.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
