About the Role
The Enterprise Truck Rental Division has an immediate opening for a Full Time Vehicle Service Attendant (VSA). This position is responsible for cleaning, detailing, and providing light maintenance on a diverse fleet of Medium-Duty trucks, ensuring high service levels and well-maintained vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Clean vehicle interior and exterior, including windshields, windows, and mats.
- Drive various vehicles safely and efficiently for lot operations and local deliveries.
- Check and maintain fluid levels on all vehicles.
- Notify management of any unsafe equipment, conditions, or vehicle problems.
- Perform basic maintenance such as checking tire pressure, topping off fluids, and replacing marker lights or lift gate components.
- Keep the work area, tools, and equipment organized and in working condition.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be able to read and speak English.
- Must possess a current and valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
- No drug or alcohol-related convictions (e.g., DUI/DWI) on driving record in the past 5 years.
- 6 months of work experience required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship.
- Must be qualified to drive under Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Must be able to submit an appropriate medical examiner's certificate or successfully complete a DOT medical examination.
- No moonlighting (no other paid employment) is allowed.
