About the Role

Carrier is seeking an Aftermarket Accessories Planner to join their North America Residential Operations team. This role ensures timely material availability for manufacturing, maintains optimal inventory, and drives supply chain performance. The planner will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve shortages and improve processes, impacting operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute material planning strategies to ensure timely material availability for manufacturing operations.
  • Manage purchase order activities and collaborate with suppliers to maintain material availability, delivery performance, and supply continuity.
  • Monitor inventory levels, analyze material requirements, and implement actions to optimize inventory accuracy while minimizing shortages and excess stock.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues, support operational continuity, and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Analyze planning and inventory data, prepare performance reports, and contribute to achieving key supply chain metrics related to inventory, material availability, and on-time delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in material planning, inventory planning, purchasing, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting aftermarket operations or service parts planning.
  • Experience driving inventory optimization, process improvements, and supply chain performance initiatives.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal) with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and suppliers.
