About the Role

The ETL/SSIS Developer/Application Analyst provides direct support to ConServe’s application landscape and develops and implements application improvement initiatives. This role emphasizes program development, quality testing, and end-user enablement, working under the direction of the Applications Development Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Recommends technical solutions, identifying pros and cons.
  • Troubleshoots production issues, identifying root causes and implementing resolutions.
  • Engages project sponsors to understand business concerns and identify solutions.
  • Creates, enhances, and maintains custom and COTS applications.
  • Plans, develops, tests, and installs systems solutions for new business lines, departments, or client requests.
  • Recognizes and implements improvements in IT keep-it-running activities.
  • Mentors and cross-trains team members on IT keep-it-running processes.
  • Trains users on new or modified applications.
  • Ensures data integrity and system synergy through quality control of application system functionality.
  • Confirms software solutions by conducting tests and modifying code or configuration.
  • Provides guidance and support to end users to improve application proficiency.
  • Generates Ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Writes and maintains functional and technical specifications for reference documentation.
  • Maintains system and programming guidelines by adhering to the software development lifecycle.
  • Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Adheres to ConServe’s Professional Practices Management System (PPMS), Code of Conduct, and Compliance Program.

Requirements

  • Three+ (3) years of experience in an applications development or configuration software role.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to act independently to resolve problems.
  • Good verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Must show a sense of urgency, being able to perform and multitask under pressure.
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Must be able to provide on-call support on a rotating basis.
  • Must be able to work remote in a home office environment.
  • A secure internet connection.
  • A private work area in which work activities can be conducted.
  • U.S. Citizenship or lawful Permanent Resident alien with three or more years as a permanent resident in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • No conflicts of interest with ConServe or our Clients.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to sit or remain sedentary for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Must occasionally be able to bend, move, climb and lie down in awkward positions.
  • Ability to type on a computer for eight (8) hours.
  • Ability to listen and talk frequently throughout the day.

Skills

  • ETL/SSIS experience
  • C# console application and .NET development experience
  • Strong SQL experience creating and maintaining stored procedures
  • Experience with Cisco Tidal or other similar automated scheduling tools
  • The ability to telework
