Assist the clinician in providing medical care to patients within the Medical Practice.

Prepare materials, supplies, equipment, and the patient to assist the clinician with the patient's medical exam.
Obtain patient history and medical information.
Provide direct patient care as directed by a Registered Nurse or clinician.
Collect and process specimens as directed by the clinician and perform point-of-care testing.
Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the clinician.
Instruct patients and families on clinician-recommended preventive care, prescribed medication, test preparation, treatment progress monitoring, and symptom changes.
Contact patients to provide requested follow-up, advise them of test results, or relay clinician instructions.
Fulfill and adhere to all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
Maintain and model the organization's values.
Demonstrate regular, dependable, and predictable attendance.
Perform other duties as required.
