About the Role
The Director, Strategic Growth will identify, shape, and develop new sources of value and growth for LHW, including new services, products, partnerships, and business models. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution to translate emerging opportunities into structured business cases and actionable initiatives, working closely with leaders across various departments.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities that strengthen LHW’s member value proposition and long-term strategic position.
- Proactively identify and shape new growth opportunities by uncovering unmet member needs, evaluating market and competitive dynamics, exploring external partnerships, and developing internally generated concepts for new products, services, or business models.
- Assess opportunities to determine where LHW has a strong opportunity to deliver value to members and create long-term strategic and/or commercial impact.
- Apply enterprise evaluation frameworks to assess strategic fit, member value, scalability, and revenue or broader strategic potential.
- Translate promising concepts into structured business cases that outline the value proposition, commercial model, operational implications, and investment requirements.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate both direct revenue opportunities and initiatives that enhance the overall value of LHW membership.
- Present recommendations and investment cases to senior leadership to inform prioritization and resource allocation.
- Lead the incubation and pilot design of selected initiatives to test market viability and operational feasibility.
- Define pilot objectives, success metrics, and commercialization approaches, including pricing structures where applicable.
- Work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Digital, Finance, and Operations to align stakeholders and ensure pilot readiness.
- Use pilot results and market feedback to refine opportunities and determine whether initiatives should be scaled, revised, or discontinued.
- Support the transition of validated initiatives to the appropriate operating teams for long-term ownership and growth.
- Ensure offerings are designed with scalable delivery models and clear operational structures.
- Participate in the review of significant changes to existing services that carry revenue or strategic implications.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience identifying and developing new growth opportunities and taking products, services, partnerships, or business models from early concept through business case development, validation, launch, and operationalization.
- Strong background in strategic growth, new business development, corporate ventures, innovation, product/service development, and/or commercialization, with demonstrated experience creating and building new growth opportunities.
- Proven experience building financial models and developing investment-grade business cases.
- Ability to apply structured evaluation frameworks to assess opportunity viability and scalability.
- Strong commercial judgment with the ability to balance innovation ambition with feasibility and organizational capacity.
- Experience influencing and aligning cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.
- Executive presence and ability to engage senior stakeholders in strategic discussions.

Salary/Compensations
- $160,000 – $190,000
- Target Annual Incentive bonus: up to 20%
