About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manages an account administration unit or function, including performance management and establishing performance standards.
- Determines staffing needs, makes hiring and firing decisions, handles salary administration, and ensures resource availability.
- Participates in developing the business unit strategic plan and sets goals and priorities to ensure objectives are met.
- Develops unit budget and manages expenses.
- Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment of employee participation, teamwork, and communication.
- Allocates client accounts based on client needs, complexity, and to maximize satisfaction, maintaining communication to anticipate needs.
- Oversees client servicing activities and resolves complex operational issues.
- Supports sales professionals through effective management of marketing and client service activities.
- Provides technical support and expertise to relationship managers regarding client service delivery.
- Promotes the bank and its products through industry and client conferences, public relations interviews, and task force participation.
Requirements
- Knowledge of institutional trust operations and accounting systems and/or banking products and services.
- Knowledge of general finance and portfolio management concepts.
- Skills in negotiation, delegation, and sales.
- Leadership and organizational skills.
- 7-10 years of experience in a client servicing capacity.
- 2-3 years of experience in a financial services environment.
